Sea and Sardinia
Lawrence leaves Sicily with his wife and heads for Sardinia almost on impulse. The journey is short, sometimes uncomfortable, occasionally comic, and wonderfully alert to small things. Ferries, railway compartments, clothes, food, strangers and weather matter as much as monuments.
